  • the leap day that wasn't

Soundtrack: The Velvet Underground, The Velvet Underground

Diaryland can't seem to wrap its head around leap year days, the date and time aren't filled in automatically. Maybe I can't handle leap days, either; I certainly haven't made much of this one. First time online in eons, and naturally I've done nothing productive with myself for hours. At least I can catch the tail end of the Oscars... and I'm taking tomorrow off. Sort of.

    [ pause for Oscars ]

    [ returned @ 12:30AM ]

What a snooze that was. The one good part was not provided by the show itself -- I was watching at the ridiculously swanky apartment of a friend of Jordan's. He told me his girl friend Devin had said I had a friendly face after we met yesterday. A great face? Something like that.

It'd be lovely to still be in school where I could sleep through the morning classes if I had been up all night writing some epic entry. Alas, as Paúl pointed out yesterday, we are adults now. Paying rent and bills, wearing French blue button down shirts and drycleaned khakis (structure without content), flipping through our cell phone books to see how many friends we have and how negligent we are in tending to them.

    Bedtime!
